Fish Futures Inc. has a diverse group of members who strive to work for the benefit of the fisheries resource. To celebrate the achievements of these successes, Fish Futures members and specific individuals have been recognized on the national stage for their dedication, efforts and innovative thinking towards the conservation and enhancement of Manitoba's fisheries resource.     Each year five individuals and/or organizations across Canada are honoured by the Minister of Fisheries and Oceans for their contribution to benefit and enhancement of Canada's freshwater fisheries. Of the four awards given to Manitobans over the last 12 years, three of them have been directly linked to Fish Futures. The receipients have included:     Mr. David Carrick - winner of the 1993 award as founder and         president of Fish Futures Inc.     Dr. Ken Stewart - winner of the 1997 award as founder and scientific         advisor to Fish Futures Inc.     Fish Futures Inc. - winner of the 2000 award as a member of the         Urban Angling Partnership.     Mr. Don Lamont - one of our own was nominated for Canadian Travel         Media Award.     Ken Stewart & Doug Watkinson - Freshwater Fishes of Manitoba -         two Manitoba Writers and Publishers Guild awards for 2004.
