The Fish Winnipeg committee is again looking for a number of guide boats to participate in the event. These individuals, along with their boats, will be needed from 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 16th right up to 5:30 p.m. that same day.
GUIDE RESPONSIBILITIES:
take members of the media out in the morning from 6:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m;
take out three corporate anglers in the afternoon from 12:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m;
supply fishing equipment, bait and safety gear;
this is a total length event, which means catch any species; measure, and
release; and
total length in the boat during the hours specified will determine the Fish
Winnipeg Challenge Cup winners.
GUIDE BENEFITS:
fish fry breakfast and dinner following the event (Location: Inn at the Forks);
social evening prior to the event – corporate boat draw;
exposure to the media and personalities;
“Fish Winnipeg” prize packages; and
become a partner in an event that is making a difference to inner city youth at
risk andan opportunity to promote the sport of fishing to a group of people that
otherwise would never get the chance!
