The Premier Event of the Year
Fish Futures 37th Annual Banquet and Auction will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at the Victoria Inn Hotel & Conference Centre, Winnipeg, Manitoba.
During the festive evening, guests will enjoy a first-class dining experience and have the opportunity to participate in multiple live and silent auctions as well as entering to win fabulous prizes in the Master Angler draw.

This non-profit event is designed to showcase Manitoba's recreational angling community and bring those together who have a passion for recreational angling.
Our History
Since its inception on 1989, the banquet continues to grow through partnerships and support from corporations, business and individuals who want to give back to the recreational fishery. The Fish Futures Banquet is a non-profit event that supports the conservation and enhancement of the freshwater fisheries through:

Sponsorship, development and encouragement of research project

Habitat preservation, enhancement and management programs, and

Public education to increase public awareness of the value of freshwater fisheries and the need for conservation and enhancement of fish stocks and habitat.
Committee Volunteers
The Fish Futures Banquet Committee is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to preserving Manitoba's rich fisheries resource. Through our fundraising efforts, we aim to support the conservation and enhancement of freshwater fisheries, ensuring a sustainable future for generations to come.
